Engagements
Scoped backend API programming, microservices migrations, and technical advisory sessions offered by NodeWeave Consulting.
NodeWeave Consulting sells paid programming consulting — not licenses, not hosting, and not staff augmentation without a written scope. Every engagement names repositories, environments, and the interfaces we will touch.
Architecture advisory sessions
Focused working sessions for leadership and senior engineers who need a second opinion before committing to a service split. We review sequence diagrams, topic boundaries, and failure isolation. You receive a written memo with recommended next commits, not generic “best practices.”
- Format: remote or on-site in Kuala Lumpur
- Starting price: RM 4,500 per session (confirm scope before invoicing)
- Deliverable: findings document within five business days
Scoped build sprints
Hands-on implementation in your Git repositories: new REST resources, gRPC gateways, consumer groups, database migration scripts, and observability hooks. Sprints are time-boxed; we do not accept open-ended “just build the platform” requests.
- Duration: typically four to eight weeks
- Starting price: RM 28,000 per sprint
- Payment: milestone invoices tied to demoable checkpoints
Stabilisation retainers
Recurring hours for production follow-up: tracing regressions, tightening retry policies, and upgrading dependencies with test coverage. Hours are scheduled; we do not market 24/7 unlimited support.
- Starting price: RM 6,500 per month
- Minimum term: three months, cancellable per the refund policy
Technical stack boundaries
We implement services in Go, Java/Kotlin (Spring), and Node.js workers. Message brokers we support in client engagements include Kafka and RabbitMQ when already provisioned in your estate. If your stack differs, we may decline or propose a discovery sprint first.
Who this is not for
Teams seeking a marketing site, mobile app UI, or generic “digital transformation” programme without API deliverables should look elsewhere. We also do not run unpaid proof-of-concept builds to win later work.
